The smaller size is meant for a mantlepiece or bookcase, the larger can go on the wall; please see the sizing below so you are 100% satisfied with what you are purchasing. Cut, engraved and hand-assembled from 3 different types of layered wood (maple, walnut, and cherry), this one of a kind family tree art box is an heirloom-quality mantlepiece that will last for years to come. A light layer of shellac protects the wood from light stains and humidity. An easel stand is included.

Sizing will depend on the number of names you'd like engraved. For example:
Standard Sizing:
1-3 names = 6" x 6" square
3-12 names = 5.25" x 8.25"
Interested in making it bigger? We now offer a size upgrade on all pieces!
Choose "XL" for the following sizes:
1-3 names = 8" x 8" square
3-12 names = 7.25" x 11.75"
13-25 names = 8" x 18.25"
Note: I can also make 4-9 names in 18.25" x 11.25", and 10-12 names in the 8" x 18.25" size; look for the "EX" option.
PERSONALIZATION:
1. When ordering, please note what you'd like your personalized FRAME to say (up to 16 characters) if different from the choices given.
2. Include a list of names you'd like engraved on each heart. One name per heart, no middle names please (too many letters do not look great).
3. When listing names, please list in the order you'd like to see them from LEFT to RIGHT.
4. Indicate if you'd like a paw print (or other) next to any of the names to indicate a fur baby family member or wings to represent the deceased.
5. Please double check the spelling of names; once they are engraved, they are permanent and I cannot be responsible for spelling errors on your part.
Future add-ons: If you are expecting additions to the family soon, I suggest ordering blank hearts built into your piece. You can purchase an engraved, adhesive heart later here:
Handmade in our home workshop in Ontario, Canada. Due to the handmade nature of this item, each one will be slightly different -- slight irregularities in the wood are normal, and sometimes slight scorching occurs during the engraving process.
Production times: These will vary throughout the year and I will update the listing accordingly -- if you need this for a busy holiday like Christmas or Mother's Day, please pay close atention to the production + shipping time. If you need it quickly, please contact me directly so I can expedite it for you and add on a shipping upgrade (link below). All of my homemade products are shipped from Ontario, Canada so please consider this when calculating transit times.
